SGSAH Board Members

The remit of the SGSAH Board is to:

• Oversee SGSAH’s strategy & operations;
• Approve and where appropriate make changes to the SGSAH governance structure;
• Receive reports from the SGSAH Executive and officers on SGSAH finance and operations;
• Act as final arbiters in the resolution of any conflict escalated to it by the SGSAH Executive Committee.

The Chair of the SGSAH Board rotates between the Universities of Edinburgh and Glasgow at the start of each academic year, mirroring the arrangement for the SGSAH Executive Committee so that if the University of Edinburgh holds the Chair of the Board, the University of Glasgow holds the Chair of the Executive Committee. As of September 2022, the University of Edinburgh currently holds the Chair of the SGSAH Board.
 
The Board normally meets in September and March each year.
