Timescale

Start and end date flexible.

Depending on where the successful candidate lives, we can envision the following work patterns, but we are flexible.

Equivalent of two days per week over 30 weeks with one day per week in the TV Foundation offices

OR

Equivalent of two days per week over 30 weeks with two consecutive days in the TV Foundation offices per month

Benefits to the Host

The TV Foundation represents the biggest area of potential growth for us. Having resource to fully evaluate future projects and benchmarking them against what is already available in the space will be critical in designing new modes of learning and career development for TV professionals.

Benefits to the Researcher

The intern will have regular access to the TV Foundation’s Managing Director (who also has ultimate responsibility for the Edinburgh TV Festival) and unrivalled access to a range of TV professionals from a variety of backgrounds and specialisms. The intern will leave the project with an advanced understanding of the TV industry, connections and continuing support from us in planning for their next move.
