Dr Stephanie Zihms founded Transfer Researcher Development Services in 2020 to support more PhD students with their writing. She is also a lecturer in Academic Writing.

She focuses on developing a variety of writing support and communities for PGRs and staff to help with thesis writing, writing for publication or other written outputs. One of her key research interests are Peer-writing groups and using Creative methods to support writers.

She developed the Power Hour of Writing, an inclusive peer-writing community in 2019.

Stephanie has a strong record in Researcher Development and is the current chair of the Universities Scotland Researcher Development and Culture committee.
