Research Interests:

My Ph. D research aims to take an interdisciplinary view on the archaeology of Old Norse ritual & religion, with particular focus on the role of animals within ritual practice.

Previous Research Projects:

I completed my undergraduate thesis on the inclusion of animal remains in the Viking burials of Britain at Glasgow in 2013, followed by my Master’s thesis on the re-use of ancient monuments, again in Viking burials. Both theses were supervised by my current supervisor, Dr. Colleen Batey.
