Research Interests:

I am currently researching & interested in contemporary Science Fiction cinema in the context of The Anthropocene, focusing particularly on the genre's representation & management of time in the midst of our current ecological crisis.

My broader research interests include genre cinema, temporality, post-feminism, ecocinema & extreme cinema.

Previous Research Projects:

My MA thesis focused on a temporal analysis of the screens & cyborgs of science fiction, positing that the ways in which these future technologies frame time is both reflective & transcendent of cinema’s own temporality
