Research Interests:

I recently returned to the UK after living in Fes, Morocco for the past year & a half. Prior o that I completed a MA in Islamic Societies & Cultures at the School of Oriental & African Studies, London in 2013. My research project will focus on the discussion of prophecy within the Qur'an & how this is related to its late Antique context. I am based in the department of Islamic & Middle Eastern Studies.

Previous Research Projects:

In my MA thesis, “The Isawiyya Reconsidered”, I evaluated the reliability of the sources on Abu 'Isa al-Isfahani, the leader of a late seventh century Jewish sect.
