An online lecture by Honorary Research Fellow at Birkbeck, University of London, Catherine Grant. In her lecture, she reflects upon how her own take up of videographic tools and methods for her film and moving image studies research, almost a decade and a half ago, resulted in a fundamental “remixing,” for her, of what she understood Humanities research possibilities to be.

A workshop reflecting on a wide-range of possibilities for disseminating film and media research in both academic and non-academic contexts. The event will include speakers from a variety of backgrounds, including two recent PhD graduates, a senior commissioning editor for an academic press, and the editors of an open access academic book series. A roundtable discussion will be followed by an open Q&A session. Whether you are just starting out with your doctoral research or are nearing the end of your PhD, this event will provide a good opportunity for you to start thinking about where you want your research to go after the viva.
