Discipline+ Catalyst Event: Philosophy Graduate Workshop, continuous with the SPA Annual Meeting

Format
The workshop will consist of graduate papers. The slots will be 35 minute long, with a suggested division of 20 minutes for the talk, followed by 15 minutes of standard Q&A. The graduate talks—a maximum of 4—will then be followed by a joint feedback session, conducted by Catalyst members with participation from the audience, on issues such as content delivery, timing, usefulness of handout, Q&A management, etc.
Context
This SGSAH Philosophy Training Event will be continuous with the annual meeting of the SPA (Scots Philosophical Association), the professional association of philosophers in Scotland. This year, the SPA Annual meeting will be held in Stirling, 5-6 December, starting at lunchtime on the 5th and ending at lunchtime on the 6th. The SGSAH Training Event will be held in the afternoon of the 6th.
Part of the rationale for having this SGSAH event annexed to the SPA Annual Meeting is that it will be a good way of bringing the SPA community (philosophy staff across Scotland) closer together with the Philosophy SGSAH community (graduate students across Scotland).
