University of Edinburgh

Location

The researcher will have the option to work remotely or at the CRC, Edinburgh.

Project

Edina/Athena: The Greek Revolution and the Athens of the North, 1821–2021 is an exhibition at the University of Edinburgh, sponsored by the A. G. Leventis Foundation, running from 29 October 2021 to 29 January 2022. It marks the bicentenary of the outbreak of the Greek Revolution, considers the contemporary discourse of Edinburgh as the ‘Athens of the North’ or ‘Modern Athens’, and highlights the Scots who connected these two contexts. This internship will involve the development of an online exhibition to ensure that the display leaves a lasting legacy.

*please note researchers based at University of Edinburgh are not eligible for this position*
