Project title: Research and Documentation Intern: The Story of Stirling
Project description

The University of Stirling Collections are seeking a research and documentation intern to help us tell the story of our collection’s history. In preparation of our 60th anniversary, the Collections seek the help of a research intern to search through our archives, and the archives of the University to pull out stories that help Illustrate the history and development of our University collection. With your help, we’ll be using this to create a small publication, that will celebrate our anniversary in 2027.

Outputs

A brief history of the collection, including stories from the archive about the founding ethos of the art on campus.

Location
Hybrid. While lots of this work can be done from home, some in-person working will be required to access the archives.
Benefits to the researcher

Researchers will gain insights into the everyday work of a university museum, gallery and archive and receive networking opportunities to connect with other GLAM professionals.

This short-term research project will allow an intern to support the development of a publication.

Key relationships
