About this Session

This is an introduction to public engagement giving participants techniques and skills to engage the public with their research. The workshop gives a step by step approach to plan successful engagement and communication. Explore the key ingredients to develop high quality and high impact content and activities that can bring your research to life. We’ll look at public dialogue, two-way discussions around research areas and using public engagement to inform research direction, policies or strategy.
