SGSAH internship opportunities for 2025 are now open for applications

SGSAH has organised 25 new Internship opportunities with over 20 partner organisations. These internships allow PhD researchers to spend up to 3 months at a partner host organisation, enabling them to enhance their research skills in a wide variety of contexts. Projects can be worked full time, part time or flexibly in blocks.
Would you like to use and enhance your research skills and creative practice to make an impact – not to mention boost your career prospects and get paid while doing it? SGSAH internships and artist residencies opportunities for 2025 are now live on our website and open for applications. We are delighted to once again be partnering with some wonderful host organisations on a range of diverse research projects, including Historic Environment Scotland, the NHS, Glasgow Short Film Festival, Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop, Creative Lives and many more. Placements can be worked full time, part time or flexibly in blocks and are open to Arts & Humanities researchers across Scotland, no matter what their funding source.
The application deadline is 5pm, Friday 15 November 2024.
These Internships will allow PhD researchers to spend up to three months at a partner host organisation, enabling them to enhance their research skills in a wide variety of contexts. These exciting opportunities give them the chance to make a difference to an organisation, whilst developing their skills, networks and CV to take them to the next stage of their career.
SGSAH will pay the equivalent of an UKRI stipend rate for the duration of their internship or residency and can help with travel and accommodation costs if these aren’t funded by the host organisation.
All internships will commence between January and October 2025.
