Presenters: Associate Prof. Yanqiu (Annie) Guan (UNESCO City of Film Qingdao, China); Prof. Dr. David Wilson (Director of Bradford UNESCO City of Film, expert advisor to the UK Commission to UNESCO); Lisa Nawrocki (Head of UNESCO Creative City of Film Potsdam Office, Germany)

This panel discussion explores the relationship between global film industries/international cultural heritage/public engagement and research and creative practice, with panel speakers from UNESCO Cities of Film Network's officials/researchers.

By the end of this session, participants will identify the opportunities and challenges of linking international cultural heritage/public engagement to research and creative practice, and will familiarise themselves with up-to-date policies and international research collaboration opportunities brought by UNESCO Cities of Film Network.

This session will be of particular interest to postgraduate students/researchers working on topics related to international cultural heritage/global film industries/public engagement, and/or employing creative practice as research method.
