Personal Branding Workshop: Communicate Your Brilliance in Academia and Beyond - 3 Dec 2020

Date: Thursday 3 December 2020, 14.30-16.30

Location: Online via Zoom

Presenter: Dr Suzy Cater

Reclaim your voice in this personal branding workshop that will help you fall back in love with writing and talking about what you do. We’ll be banishing the “nasty reader” in your head (who keeps you editing and second-guessing your words…) and showing you how to articulate who you are, what you stand for and why it matters in a way that hooks your listeners in and enthrals them. PhD-turned-entrepreneur and messaging expert Dr Suzy Cater will be guiding you through the process, so you can walk away with renewed confidence, spark and vim in the way you show up and express yourself – for whatever adventure your career path takes you on next.

This workshop is open to all doctoral researchers at institutions in Scotland. It will be of particular interest to those considering how to communicate their values and persona in their research and in other sectors.
