The Ethics of Collaboration - 3 Dec 2020

Date: Thursday 3 December 2020, 12.00-14.00

Location: Online via Zoom

Presenters: Dr Victoria Donovan and Darya Tsymbalyuk

Public engagement, impact, and knowledge exchange are concepts that today rank highly on research agendas across the UK and the US. Yet the discussion of what constitutes engagement, on the politics and practicalities of building collaborations with non-academic partners, and on the ethics of conducting such work are still at their very earliest stages. In this workshop, Dr Victoria Donovan and Darya Tsymbalyuk discuss their own experiences and experiments with collaborative methods and workshop ideas for new collaborative and publically engaged initiatives together with workshop participants.

This workshop is open to all doctoral researchers at institutions in Scotland. It will be of particular interest to those interested in working collaboratively with communities or with artists and creative practitioners.

This workshop has limited capacity, so please book early at the link below to avoid disappointment. We will run a waiting list, so if you have registered and for any reason you are no longer able to attend, please contact: kehub@st-andrews.ac.uk as soon as possible so we can offer your place to one of your colleagues on the waiting list.
