We are excited to advertise a vacancy at the Scottish Graduate School for Arts & Humanities (SGSAH) for a new Partnerships and Placements Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual with experience of fostering productive relationships across the public, private and third sectors, to lead on the development and delivery of knowledge exchange and doctoral training initiatives for Scotland’s national graduate school for arts and humanities.

You will work as part of a small and friendly team based at the SGSAH offices at the University of Glasgow, the lead research organisation within the SGSAH partnership. Your excellent communication, customer relations and networking skills will facilitate partnership building with a wide variety of organisations across the creative, cultural and heritage, public, private and third sectors. 

You will support collaboration, partnership working and industry engagement, enhancing the visibility and value of arts and humanities doctoral research amongst SGSAH stakeholders and wider audiences. Working as part of a small team to lead on the development and implementation of strategies and policies for partnership working, knowledge exchange (KE) and careers’ related training for Scotland’s national graduate school for arts and humanities. You will also work with the SGSAH Executive and member and partner institutions, and will support the development of SGSAH’s KE Hubs and Industry Advisory Boards structure. 

Salary will be on the Management, Professional and Administrative Grade, level 7, £35,210 – £39,610 per annum.

This post is offered as full time (35 hours per week) and on an open-ended basis.
