UKCGE Event: Collaborative Doctorates: Structures, challenges and possibilities

The UKCGE event is multi-disciplinary and multi-perspective, offering insights from students, supervisors, industry and those closely connected to policy around different models of collaborative provision.
Delegates are offered the opportunity to consider the perspectives of key stakeholders, share and reflect on current practices and explore opportunities for new ways of working. This event is designed and led by the UKCGE Working Group on Sustainability of Organisational Structures for Doctoral Provision, with members drawn from the Universities of Coventry, Stirling, Lancaster and Bradford.
Please note that professional doctorates are not included in our definition of collaborative doctorates.
The outcomes from this event will form the basis of a UKCGE working paper on collaborative doctorates.
Confirmed speakers include the Dean of the Scottish Graduate School for Arts & Humanities, Professor Dee Heddon and is supported by the Scottish Graduate School of Social Sciences.
