We are thrilled our internships programme has been named Best Collaboration (Arts & Culture) by the University of Glasgow Knowledge Exchange & Public Engagement Awards 2017.

The Award was presented to Anna Scott, Knowledge Exchange & Partnerships Manager (right), and  SGSAH Director Dr Theresa McKinven by Professor Jon Cooper, Vice Principal Innovation & Knowledge Exchange at the University of Glasgow Knowledge Exchange Conference on 30 November.

Theresa said: “Doctoral internships provide innovative and rigorous analytical input to key creative industry challenges and deliver tangible outputs for both internship hosts and wider industry. The development of internships is vital to SGSAH’s aim of equipping our highly skilled doctoral graduates to undertake and actively pursue careers beyond academia.”

The awards spanned seven categories and recognised excellence in the exchange of knowledge, expertise and intellectual assets through engagement with industry, the public sector and community partners.
