ARCS Student Profiles Award Year 2016
The Scottish Graduate School for Arts & Humanities also offers Applied Research Collaborative Studentships (ARCS). ARCS are doctoral projects designed and supervised by at least two higher education institutions (HEIs) and at least one other partner. They must demonstrate mutual benefit for all partners and the doctoral researcher. ARCS are supported by the Scottish Funding Council, which is meeting 50% of the costs of each three-year studentship, which includes a stipend at RCUK rate. The remaining 50% of costs will be met by HEIs. Read about the research conducted by students funded through the Applied Research Collaborative Studentships in 2016 below.
